Can I remove the groups labeled 1.5 something but still keep the patches. For example I now have a Kits, and a 1.5 kits. Can I just remove the 1.5 kits and move those kits into just "kits"?

I haven't tried it but I think you just re-tag the 1.5kits into 'kits'.

Sure, tag however you want but I think you'd have to manually tag all the files

    checking ....

Aight, while in the kit 1.5 'folder', I pressed CTRL+A to select all, click on EDIT@ the bottom to open the tag editor, then check mark 'Kits' and apply. It's all good here. btwn, I just noticed my 'kits' and '1.5 kits contain the same data. This tagging feature I tell you ...:)

Its save to remove all "...1.5" bank tags. Those were introduced to have an easy filter for whats new in 1.5.
The new content will be also shown if you select the main bank tags (e.g "Instruments", "NI Projects", "Kits" etc.) which means there is no need to rename the 1.5 tags - just uncheck them in the edit mode of the browser

    Best,
    Robert

Thxn for the input Robert. I think I'll keep mine as is. I like the seperation of new sounds from the old ones.

To reiterate, they're all together in the regular banks/types etc...but the 1.5 tags give you access to the new stuff only! ;)
