One thing I can't seem to figure out.
Let's say you have a pattern going(keys, drums, bass), and you start a new second pattern with variations on those instruments..
What if you play a few notes for the keys sound on that new pattern and you don't like it..
Is there another way(without holding erase and waiting for those notes to come around) to clear those particular notes from the keys without losing the instrument and other stuff on that pattern?
If I hit erase/shift I lose the instrument, and the notes are still there. IF I hit shift and clear, I lose my whole pattern. Am I missing something?

select, events then hit the pad you want to erase notes from

then shift+clear will just clear the data from the pad you chose

If your group happens to be in keyboard mode, shift + clear will only erase the pattern data for the current sound.

For drum kits you still have to press select and tap the pad first. My only issue with this is select and events are on the same mode so you have an extra step to choose select if you had it on events. I wish events and select were separate buttons. Maschine needs more buttons lol.
