ive noticed something strange whilst using knobs/faders. Every time i turn a knob its firing multiple events per step?
check out my ens. its just a knob connected to event watcher.

turn knob and watch the event watcher

why is it firing loads of different events for each value?
    this isnt normal is it?

Oh, yes, it has been just discussed by us in another topic. Take a look (latest posts):

It is normal for Reaktor, however it scares when it reacts like this.

Solution for your problem will be to put Step Filter with 0 Tolerance after knobs output. Step Filter let values go through only if they are different from each other.

However, Chris (CList) suggests you not to use it when you're analyzing events, but in some particular case I think you can use Step Filter.

Also try setting lower Mouse Resolution!

has reaktor always acted like this then? im sure it only used to put out a single event per step?
    ---
just read the other thread, coincidence that ive just noticed this today. I also noticed that messing about with the resolution would send more or less events per step.

this is really wierd, im positive i only used to get one value per step, without using a step filter.....

I don't know about previous versions as I used latest Reaktor version only. It should send a single event in my opinion as well, however it is like this. With less resolution it seems like panel is updated with each movement of mouse less than with higher resolution and that's why there is reduce in events. But you just have to get used to it.. or use Step Filter.
