I figured as much, since you actually asked if I'm a real girl! It did seem a bit of a tease.

I knew there had to be girls out there, I was just thinking of starting a thread:

    "Leila are you out there?"

and that's got absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with eric clapton!

Deiter Zobels ensembles are the muts nuts!!!

I mean, today I auditioned ensemble after ensemble after ensemble to play this Celtic piece that I'd MIDI'd awhile back. Most of them were not "functional" at all for that purpose, but I'm such a sound freak that it didn't really matter. I eventually got a somewhat demented (though recognizable) audio recording of the song... which I immediately fed to a granular synth which made it completely unrecognizable but beautiful! >>

Congratulations on this creative "breakthrough". This, to me, is what Reaktor is, or should be, all about. There are mountains of synths and midi plugins to do the former tast of rendering up pretty music, but open a Rachmiel or Zobel ensemble, and it's like when Dorothhy landed in Oz and everything suddenly went from black & white to technicolor!

I've mentioned it once or twice on KVR, but I don't advertise it over there. The Reaktor forum, though, has a higher percentage of thoughtful people who are doing creatively interesting things.

(KVR has thoughtful, creatively interesting people too, but it also has a a good percentage of people who get all bent over really silly stuff).

Anyway, I feel more comfortable being myself in a setting like this.

Actually, somebody mentioned Dorothy first seeing the technicolor world of Oz a few posts ago??? In the end, Dorothy went back home to Kansas. Well, for me Reaktor is like going home... except that OZ is my home!

It's such a "big world" here and on KVR that you never expect to meet someone who works within 5 or so miles!

We're about 1.5 miles from the Home Depot involved in the sniper shooting. It's still eerie driving past that parking structure.
