Absynth is one of my favorite NI products, and it already has sufficient features for sound design. However, if I had to pick some features that could expand Absynth's amazing potential, they would be the following:

    1) More ways to "spike" Absynth

I like the fact that there is at least a waveshaper in their to add a touch of distortion. Being a fan of heavier music, I like it a lot when things are distorted. However, I would ask that Absynth wouldn't include it just as a simple distortion you'd hear on a guitar. Instead, it should be creative like adding overdrive capabilities to the oscillators, implementing white and pink noise in atmospheric ways, or other "nonorthodox" forms of grit.

    2) Sound morphing like in Kore

    3) Automated morphing and sequencing of anything

I'm talking much more than notes. I'm talking any parameter in the engine, even the oscillator waveforms.

    4) Audio Oscillation Modes

I don't just want to use Absynth as an effect; I want to create new sounds based on any audio I can feed into it. The audio could even affect other types of oscillators, especially in the way of note data. Imagine, for instance, playing Absynth with a guitar (WITHOUT A MIDI TRACKER!) and mixing the guitar sound with the built in synth oscillators.

    5) Spectral Effects

I know that many NI users are dissappointed that spectral effects are not in Reaktor. In fact, why are they absent from the entire NI lineup? NI could start by adding Spektral Delay (or something similar) in Absynth. Anything spectral in Absynth would be a welcome addition.

    6) Momentary Performance Effects

These effects would be similar to how the Korg KAOSS PADS work: the effect would be on as long as the user interacted with it. These could also not just be limited to the effects section or the effects themselves.
