    Hi,

I don't know if this has been requested before but,

What I would like to see is a feature like let's say you have a track where there is a part you don't want to hear, you select the part you don't wanna hear and it will skip right over it. For instance today I bought a song from beat port and it contained a skip in the track, So with this new feature it can pass right over the ship and voila. Maybe this can be called a skip marker that can be stored some thing like a loop point but it would be called a skip point. I know there are editing programs that can fix my problem with the skip but my tune is in mp3 format and I don't wanna loose quality by editing it.

    Thanks

+1 I've definitely requested this before. I try to do it with cue points and labels but it would be nice to be automatic so you don't have to remember to jump cue points every time.

In the meantime, email beatport, if they're selling tracks that have skips recorded in them they should replace the file or refund your money.

Yes! That would be a great function. I place cuepoints as markers in the tracks, so I know when and where to jump, but if the system just did it for me: WONDERFUL!

I would like to create several cue points inclunding loops, and the abillity to jump them back and forth automatically creating a "remixed" version of the song.

If you set you beatgrid correctly and use snap/quantize, when you manually hit a cue button, the transition works so smoodly that i feel i can create new versions of the songs just by starting with some lyrics from the middle of the song, skip that part you don't like or eveven create funny arrangements with setences.

This would be done by creating rules like cue point 1 jumps to cue point 3 then to 7,then to two and so on. Cue points with loops would also be included with a loop counter.

PLease don't rant on how this is what Dj's do because all i want is to make normal songs like James Brown's "I got you - I feel good" more dj friendly and mixable.

great idea, could be done similar like hotcue or hotloop, fade in fade out, but one button divided to half first half as a start of skipping area, and second half of button as end.

something simillar to loop buttons add number of repeats, like 1-32 or infinity

+1 It's wonderful idea, and not only for skipping tracks. Sometimes, the desired track is just too long, and i need to edit it in other software like Wavelab.

ADD SKIP POINTS AND NUMBER OF LOOP
    > next feature can help dj-s more to playing with traktor and no with other music
    > softwares to editing tracks.
    > for example add skip cue could be one hot-cue button size divided to half, frist
    > half of button can mark start of skipping section, and second half can mark end of
    > skippin section. or you can make loop first and then select somethink like skip
    > loop.....
    > second in this chapter, make on loops ability to choose number of repeats, from 1
    > to 32 or infinite.

    +1 great idea!

i also play many tunes in extended version (better mixable) where i would directly like to use a cuejump after the first or second refrain and skip the third refrain or dubstep part to the outtro section.

Of cause i can realise this with remixdecks or the recording function but its just too much work while juggling around in a liveset.

a simple kind of "jump to next numbered cuepoint" marker would solve this request

    Automatic jump feature

Masterbit and ptimigmag, your suggestions include mine.

I'd love to have a JUMP CUE POINT that, when activated, would skip a pre-determined portion of the track.
The user sets points A and B and, with a button named JUMP activated, TSP would jump from a point, eg, in the hook right to the exact same hook point at the end of the song.

I'm a club dj and I usually create two cue points so that I can skip half the song in order to mix it with another track faster. But I have to do it manually.

An automatic jump feature would make everything easier.

This would be a great feature!
