I don't know if I'm going to get killed for this but here it goes!

I think the ability to "designate / mark" "playable cue / loop / section" "jump/skip cue / loop / section" and program "cues / loops / sections" sequences would be useful in creating edits or variations in arrangements.

    For example:

Designate Cue as "playable cue / loop / section" and it will play continuously trough the section an continues to all "cue / loop / section" "designated playable" in a numbered "cue / loop / section" sequence (ex. cue 1 -> cue 8)

Designate Cue as "jump/skip cue / loop / section" and it will skip cues designated as "jump/skip" and continue playing at next designated "playable cue / loop / section".

ex. if I want to play cue 1 but not cue 2, the play marker would jump from cue 2 skipping entire section to cue 3 if cue 3 is marked or designated as "playable" and continue playing all "playable cues".

The other part of this feature would be the ability to program a sequence of "cues / loops / sections"
    ex. Cue1 > Cue3 > Cue3 > Cue4 > Cue6 > Cue3 or loop1 > loop4 > loop5 > loop5 > loop1 etc.

Length of play would be determined by next cue or marker.
ex. Programing Cue1 > Cue3 > Cue3 > Cue4 section between cue 1 and cue 2 would play one time, followed by section between cue 3 and cue 4 played two times, followed by section between cue 4 and cue 5 played 1 time.

Essentially this gives you the ability to edit tracks inside Traktor just by adding more features to the cues (possibly adding more cues? or creating a separate "marking / programable" ability), possibly other uses, but editing and programing sequences was my intent.

I apologize if someone has already posted about this, I could not find it in the search. I also hope this feature suggestion doesn't offend the "purists" but I would love to see it implemented.

another proof that serato heads (and other dj software companies) are monitoring this forum to learn what traktor users are demanding. by implementing it first, they may be (slowly?) bleeding users from NI's userbase.

Finally I could watch a dope dj spin using Serato Flip.
It just blew my mind and made me kinda angry.
We've been requesting this feature here for quite some time and still nothing.
Some might say remix decks are cooler and do the same thing. They aren't and they don't, at least for me.
Please, NI, don't let us down.
If something similar is not included in the next version of Traktor, boy I admit I'll flip flop.

thanks for posting this. I also run serato. Have yet to get the expansion but i can tell i will like this. Sad NI fails to implement so many great feature request from its supporting customer base.

What a great feature for Serato. At least Serato is listening to the feature request here. I am not a programmer but if i had to guess this is probably not that hard to implement into Traktor.

I've said it before and I'll say it again yes to the color/ auto jump cue's, plus my wish is to have a cue point trigger a cell on my remix deck and to automatically turn FX on and off. For example on deck A I'm playing a track let's say a hip hop track and on the first chorus that cue point automatically triggers my remix deck cell that has a acapella which is goin ease the transition to deck B and at any point I can activate the cue points or off so that I focus my attention on the next track/ fx... The crowds!!!
