Slow loading on Virtual Drives

    I have Kontakt V2.2.3 installed on a remote PC controlled from my Host by FX Teleport V1.04 which works great.

    I couldn't get Kontakt (running on a remote PC) to see my Network Drives on the host PC, containing my sample library, as Kontakt's browser does not show 'network places'. I finally figured out that if you create 'Virtual Network Drives' by right clicking on 'My Computer', these will then be accessible through Kontakt's interface.

    ok...all is now good, however...

    When i try to load a large instrument into Kontakt on my remote PC it takes an age to load (cup of tea anyone?) as it's accessing the host's hard drive through my network. Strangely, outside of Kontakt's interface i can copy the same Instrument PC to PC at super fast speeds, as though the drive was physically on my remote PC. This means that something about Kontakt is causing this painfully slow loading through a network drive.

    Any ideas what i could do to speed things up?
