Smart Play Arp

These options on page 2 in arp mode (Arp Retrigger, Repeat, Offset, Inversion and Range parameters). do Not show up when using Komplete Kontrol in side of Maschine 2.4.6.4. They do show up in Stand alone Mode and when i use it in my D.A.W (presonus studio one 3). What gives? how is it not working within your own Product??

 

I was wondering too...I love the Logic integration as my workflow is mainly supporting Logic. But it would be helpful to have this feature in Maschine too. I did all the firmware updates. Perhaps I did something wrong? Did anyone solve this "issue"?

 

It's not implemented in maschine yet, at least that's what i read in the maschine forum. But i don't understand why though.

 

Is there a possibility to install a VST rack/host plugin to load komplete in this plugin with its features ? what do you think? So load the rack in maschine and then load Komplete within the rack/host?

 

Isn't that what ur basically already doing with Komplete Kontrol? It is the rack/host vst. Your loading other vst's within it.

 

Yeah, thats true ...but Komplete is a VST as well. You cannot load Komplete as a VST in Maschine. So you cannot use the new ARP features. But i thought about loading Komplete as VST in a VST host so you could perhaps have a chance to use the new features while you are in maschine?

 

It won't work, just like other arpeggiator plugins (Cthulhu, Cream, ...) do not work in Machine.
Something to do with plugins midi out support not being implemented yet in Maschine. Many other threads here on this topic on this forum.

 

I really wish they would implement the Smart Play Chord/Arp midi output data to whatever DAW and/or preferred sequencer. I love this keyboard alot! The only short coming for me is the midi output for Smart play!! The keyboard and software work flow is solid and to the point for me. Just puzzled as to why NI are holding back the full potential of Komplete Kontrol. A bonus for me would be to also make user defined scales and arps by just using the notes you want.

User defined scales and arps would be a bonus that would take the keyboard over the top!

 

Does anyone know when this is being implemented?
