Now as I think I can add to my list ImportDate as well to be present. In some cases it could be very useful.

 

Have you checked the public beta? Most of your suggestions are already present.

Analysis Lock, Analyzed, Import Date, Last Played Date, Play Count and Played this Session are all there. The smartlists also auto-update.

Btw, I'm thinking for another type of smart list - all songs, that I have ever played in the past, after the current one. Is this possible, to receive that kind of suggestion for the next track? Idea, similar to the related tracks in recordbox.

 

for this function, it would be nice to have a matching function where we manually connected two tracks and memorized them

 

This information can be extracted from history files. Any songs that you played before/after the current one, are related songs. But I agree, it would be nice to manually link 2 songs, as related.

 

I just think manual matching is better than story because some of the bunch of tracks we once played might not work very well, but if we manually bind together tracks that work well together, then later, we will be able to see 3-5-10 variants of tracks that fit exactly, this will give us a more confident and correct comparison, which we personally made

 

Is there operator "includes" for strings? If not that should be added as well.
Most of my songs genres are a mess, including several styles in the string like "hip-hop/rnb". And if I use equal operator it won't catch it. Maybe match some kind of regular expression is nice as well.

Also, I would like to find all tracks that are redrums. This means I want to add TITLE and then operator "INCLUDES" and then value: "redrum".
The problem is sometimes redrum is written "Redrum", sometimes "redrum".
Maybe this needs to be case-insensitive.

 

Wow, perfect. Well guys it looks like most of the things I suggested in my previous post are implemented. Well, things like OR operator, or change color of played tracks in playlist is nice to have as well, but.. All I can say is: you did amazing job. BRAVO!

p.s. Since the upcoming smartlists, please add more colors It's not enough, and it's really useful when we can filter smart list with color, so they need to be 2 or 3 more

 

works properly, thank you. 2 observations by now:

• I definitely need is/is not in any playlist/in playlist %s. in combination with "file path" this would be a nice way to sync playlists/folders
• what means "File availability " is "unknown"? Seams somewhat paradoxical to me for a search request

 

I just downloaded the latest Beta and here is my main issue with smartlists:

So i want a smart playlist that shows me all 90's Eurodance and House

How do i make it happen?

The Genre Tag should either be House or Eurodance
But the Date should after 1989/12/31 and before 2000/01/01

This is however not possible because match all conditions is a must with release date before and release date after. Unless there is a "date is between" option with 2 dates

Or I think that Release Date / Date should be a separate thing that can be unchecked if not needed but if activated is always a "and" logic.
This way it should be easier to program,
not to mention the backwarts dating convention not matching german standards etc.. which i really dont care..

Or, as someone else certainly mentioned just give every colomn a [and/or] logic, but i am really unsure if that works since my programming days are long in the past

Is there any logic using " to make a search phrase specific like "Pop" for example will not show songs if the Tag is "Synthpop"
Looked like " was not working, is there anything known?
Or Placeholders like * ?

You can try in beta it

 

Add CLONE existing smartlist. We don't want to start from 0 for each one, some are different with very few differences. CLONE should speed the process of creating new one.

It works same as create new one, but just has already added the rules from the cloned one.
