I’ve mentioned before, that I’d like to be able to “nest” smart playlists.

That is, to be able to have one smart playlist as a condition in another (condition; Playlist IS, or Playlist IS NOT).

This is vital for my own use case.

Now - what would be AWESOME, would be for Traktor Smart Playlisys to be able to refer to iTunes Smart Playlists in such a way...

Could this be done?!? It really would provide the absolute maximum benefit to users, in that, we’d have Traktor Smart Playlists for all Traktor specific info (play counts, dates, stripes/cues, etc...) but we’d be able to combine those conditions with the full functionality of iTunes SPL’s.

    Best of both worlds...

    Hi Vinyl Tap ,

    Hi Sander,
Did you mean the nested Traktor Smart Playlists, or nesting of iTunes playlists WITHIN Traktor Smart Playlists?

I’m gonna have to start using acronyms for playlists... iSPL and TSPL... ;)

No idea when it comes though, it requires a lot of work. For now you have a good package to get started ;)

This would be great indeed, and hopefully will work with the (itunes) xml files as well...
