    Hi

When I wake my mac out of smartsleep, my Maschine controller always turns itself on as well, which I than have to turn off using shift-control every time.

How can I get rid off this? Anyone an idea?

Well, you could try unplugging Maschine it when its not in use. Seems like a no-brainer, but whatever...Also, I've heard and read about many horror stories involved with People who let their Macs "sleep". Add to the fact that you had to download an app for it go to sleep just raises my suspicions even more.

I never put my macs to sleep, if I'm not going to be using them, I simply turn them off. I also unplug my Maschine and put it back in its box. No dust is getting under my pads! I've had mine since 2009 and have had ZERO issues with it.

You have to do it twice.

The Maschine is still illuminated, just darkened letters> Best to unplug it I think.

    I read this link too:
    http://www.native-instruments.com/fo...d.php?p=975036
    and everybody has this problem
something about a DAW not reacting very good to smartsleep
and it is a bug still not fixed
unplugging does not help, the problem is in the software
and yes you have to press shift control twice
and it's annoying that I have to turn smartsleep off
because it's supposed to save energy when not using my mac
but I turned it off in preferences and now I don't have
a lit up Maschine that I constantly have to switch off
which is nice....thanks to you all

and it's only been a problem since update 1.7.2
