I just upgraded to Snow Leopard.

Now Logic crashes whenever I manually quit the app from a project using Massive, complaining that the Massive plug-in quit unexpectedly.

    Anyone got similar issues?

    but everything else seems ok.

I have that problem too. Can't select patches from the drop down box at all (and the existing patch name is renamed to the project file name).

Didn't have any issues under Leopard.

Yes, it's the latest version (1.1.4).

Run Massive as a standalone and manually rebuild your database. Reboot your system and rescan your plugins.

Well I just went back to Leopard. No real help from native instruments, makes me concerned about investing any more money in this company. Might jump to Arturia.

Go to options/browser and choose rebuild DB.

As for Snow Leopard issues, read the compatibility sticky at the top of every forum.

I am not able to rebuild the database (the option isn't active). And in any case, is this recommended to cure the crash bug or patch selection issues?

Regarding Snow Leopard Compatibility, I have now heard back from NI support saying they have reproduced the crash bug and have reported it to the dev team. Can I suggest you update the compatibility notes in your forum accordingly? I.e. there are known issues even with existing installations.

Once again, did you do it with Massive as a standalone?

Yes, I did. Once again, the option to rebuild the database is not active. Within the relevant dialog, clicking on the user database (which is in its default path) does not activate it (and the Rebuild DB option).

BTW, I have also now noticed that new Massive patches are not saved properly anymore (saved patches seem to contain random settings) . No such problems under Leopard.

Are there any updates in the works to fix the Massive / Snow Leopard issues?
