Good to know since I'll hopefully own one of these bad-boys next week. I've watched & read a few reviews and I can't seem to fault it yet.

you will not be disappointed, this mixer is nothing short of badass!

oh yea and Telly, i didnt undo the green/yellow wire mod on the innofader, just giving you the heads up before you get it all in and sorted and come to find out the fader is reversed.

No worries, I was prepared for that.

I'm debating buying another 3 Innos and doing a short fader mod to my Ecler NUO4.0....four innofaders...OMG.

christ almighty. that would be on pricey piece of kit, 4 line innos, cross inno, traktor certified, let alone being a ecler by itself... DO IT!

Well first, I need some dough. Debating selling one of the custom Techs actually, to get some cash and make some room in the upstairs studio area.

I can't sell one of my booths! What's wrong with you? LOL.

Upstairs is studio, aka TeLLy time. Downstairs is for entertaining and get-togethers with guest DJs. Each serves a purpose, my sexy east coast friend.

Actually upstairs I prefer having a thong - it's a bit colder up there. Downstairs it's boxer-briefs, a mink coat, aviators, and a pork pie hat.

    OOooooo pork chops.

Valentine's day dinner for Missus TeLLy. Perhaps some super-thick pork chops will do the trick.

first of all, Telly, that pic is badass, "tryin to catch me ridin dirty" runs threw the head.

and second, what do you mean you lose your latency? pops and clicks? are you using the latest firmware? are you running 96Khz or 44 within the mixers soundcard?

Guys, i ll jump in the threat and ask some things, if i may ?
I gave it a lot of though recently due to the fact TSP 2 is been released. A need of upgrading my soundcard lead me realise i should upgrade my mixer also (Its a 3 channel mixer ).
I know basicaly what a Traktor Scratch certified mixer do with Traktor but my consern is about using this mixer (potentionaly) to produce my tracks through multychannel rec/playback.
So, would it sync with software like Ableton in terms of Recording individual channels aply effects from mixer, set volumes, cue via midi and generaly save me from doing all that with the mouse (Which i do ).
I am not after live performance with Ableton i have Scratch for it ;)
Do you think having a denon and an X1 on set is too much ? I can control 3 decks in a set and i dont feel like switching my D.j style to knobs and buttons (yet)
I understand that some effects are different between Traktor and the Mixer, so can you please explain how you control them when you are using Scratch ?

djmgj - have you tried running on internal mode to record a set in Traktor? if so, are you able to route things so that your mic is recorded? i'm asking cause i'm seriously looking at this mixer. i'll just be using it for TPro, not TSP, and would like to pre-record my radio shows. it would be nice to do the voice over during the recording of the show and not have to dub over later.
Under the input preferences, is there a spot to pick mic channel as channel 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8? so then temporarily, you lose a deck when switching to input for the mic?

hope this makes sense. the above scenario is my best guess without Traktor open in front of me.

sorry mate, i have no idea since i only use TSP. im sure if you glided over to the Denon forums someone over their would be able to help you out!

how come you would rather use internal mode when the mixer has a traktor certified soundcard? if you were to use external mode you would be able to record the mic i know that forsure.

oh i thought i needed to be in internal mode to record in tpro. i would prefer to be in external mode. i thought that if i'm not running rca's from my audio interface to the mixer - i'm in internal mode.

i'm confused. i know i want the mixer and this mic question isn't a make or break feature at all. so i'll just figure it out after i get the mixer.
