So I'm searching "koredb" in the posts. SO MANY PEOPLE ARE POSTING PROBLEMS, duplicate presets, lost soundpacks, etc.

The solution is always delete koredb and let the database rebuild. But you lose all your ratings and attributes when you do this.

Let's face it, half of Kore's functionality is as a preset manager. And with these errors, that half of it's functionality is F'KN useless once you get an error and have to delete koredb.

    FIX THIS

    There is a better solution:

Move the folder Kore 2 from Native Instruments\sounds\shared content\ to some other place where kore database is not looking for it.
    - Open Kore and do a full scan: All factory sounds are removed from the database.
    - Close Kore
    - Put the folder Kore 2 back in place.
    - Reopen Kore and do a full scan again.
    - All presets are present again, with Rating and Flag, but not duplicate anymore.

I hate you. DOES NOT WORK ON WIN 7 64! I lost all my ratings and attributes. Weeks, months of work gone.

    Native Instruments,
Fix this so your users don't start suggesting bonehead fixes that cause more problems than they solve.

You mean you didn't back it up first? Don't blame others trying to help when you don't do the obvious thing to cover your own back. Also attributes are stored in the ksd not the database so you can't have lost those unless you also deleted them separately.

WTF, are you just trying to make yourself look better? You know I have a backup because I already told you in my reply in the other post. It was bad advice. An apology would be better than trying to put the blame back on me. The person that originally posted that solution (that you obviously passed along without even testing) immediately apologized when he realized it was a faulty solution.
