So.... I bought machine at Christmas. Installed it on an OK laptop... realized it wasn't great.... installed it on a better computer. So now on 2 computers. ...... but I just bought a GREAT computer 16 gigs of ram. I7. Runs great.... can I install software on a 3rd? Do I need to uninstall on the first?

Also. I have no disk drive would I be able to download software ?

Please help with both questions. I emailed support. No answer.... I don't want to do anything until I get some advice , or some type of answer.... thanks.

I have read that. But it's kinda unclear to me.... so I can have it on 3 computers? Only being ran on 1? I only run it on 1 as it is....

    Thanks for the reply.

Also.... can I install software without a disk. If so... How?

I'm new to the computer world of music production. Thanks and sorry for the lack of knowledge.

I just had to install the software on a PC without an optical drive. You'll either need to download the software (upwards of 10GB for everything) available from your NI account, or create an ISO from the DVDs. Interestingly enough, the Maschine 2.0 software wasn't included in the box, I had to download that first (1.4 GB). I then created ISOs from the DVDs on another machine, and mounted them via a USB thumb drive. FYI - the installers wont work if you just copy the files from the DVDs, you must create an ISO image.

I will be able to help others after I jump this hurdle.
