Solo Feature - Solo several sounds

With maschine, I´m not able to solo two or more sounds - When I have a kit of 16 sounds in a group it would really be performance orientated to solo more than one sound at once.

If this feature get`s implemented, I will send flowers and cookies to the NI Headquarter in Berlin

 

It would be cool to be able to choose between the current solo exclusive behavior and the ability to solo additional sounds at once.

It would also be nice to have a mute / solo group feature like the MPC 5000. This allows one sound to follow the mute solo state of any other sound in the group. I would also like a solo safe feature for tracks you always want to play.

 

Allowing the user the Preference would be best. Some people will get accustomed to the way how Maschine operates currently (exclusive Solo) and adapt their performance style to suit (Solo a part then and then unmute parts to add elements back in). A Preference is the best compromise.

Yes Mute groups would be useful.

+1 from me on this request. Considering that the way to implement Send FX (or Aux FX for some) is via Pad slots.

 

Perhaps this would be enough for Groups - as jasefos has written for the SendFX thing - a 'ignore Solo' knob with on/off in the group menu would be useful for this!

 

Just for clarity. I am not speaking of the 8 groups of sounds in Maschine terms. Nor am I speaking about choke groups. This would be new mute / solo groups that you can assign single sounds to for soloing and muting sounds. It would be "group independent" and based on single sounds. The solo safe would be on a per sound basis too.
