Soloist is a Kontakt Instrument based on the 1970's ARP Soloist synthesizer. Expanded with spring reverb tanks, (very) woobly tapemachines and a roland dep5. We used synths own transpose switch, down and up, to capture the full sound range, extending the 37 keys to full larger key ranges.

The Soloist has a headstrong individualistic character. IT IS NOT FOR EVERYONE! The most inspiring sessions we’ve had with the instrument has been when we’ve dogmatically only used sounds from the instrument when arranging. This video shows which patches was used to create the demo song. Some patches have the built-in tracker engaged.
