Solved: Assign D2 to FX Unit 3 and 4

Hello,
I'm running an S8 with 2 D2's. On the Traktor GUI I have the FX assigned properly to each unit, but on the D2 GUI (when I press FX SELECT) it still says FX UNIT 1 for my Deck C D2 and FX UNIT 2 on my Deck D D2. How do I change the FX Units on the D2's properly?

 

just answered my own question! not very intuitive at all. First, press FX Select and then you must toggle between FX DRY/WET button and REMIX ON button 1.

Woaaaa that is weird...... Nice work for figuring that out. To explain it my own words, id say Press FX Select, then Press the ON button above the left hand Fader on the D2 unit to toggle between the two available FX units.

That is insanely unintuitive.

 

actually no, thats still not right. Its just assigning FX 4 to the 4 knobs abover the faders, not the 4 Knobs at the top of the d2.., this is dumb.. why cant you just toggle though the FX Select. like selecting the FX.

 

exactly! its dumb but its what i have to do now. so my workflow for FX knobs looks something like _ --_-- . Hard to make muscle memory with alternating knobs
