    Hi there,

I did up to date Maschine 2 to 2.6.5 without any problem. However, I decided yesterday to test the new features and start working on some of my current projects. I noticed that since the update my Maschine hardware is freezing a lot more than usual. For example, while recording I press the pads like pad#1 , #2, #3 ...... then it's freezing, and I can see from the software that it is acting like I'm pressing and holding the pad for this period of time that hardware is "stuck" / "frozen" . It seems that my issue is occurring while recording mostly.

I had this issue sometimes but not that often. Yesterday I was literally struggling to record one of my project. Took me 8 - 9 tries to do so.

Does anyone experiencing this issue as well ?

    Cheers,

Please state OS version, your system specs and your audio interface.

Is Maschine firmware and drivers up to date?

Service Center/Native Access fully up to date?

If windows make sure windows update is up to date. Download and use latencymon (Google for details). Also go to intel driver update website and update everything. Also try disabling AntiVirus. Also consider a bios update.

If IOS make sure you meet the new minimum spec requirements.

If you had this issue sometimes before then that indicates it is not the update because it should not be doing this at all. Are you using the USB cable that came with your Maschine? Are you going through a hub or extension? Try plugging directly in to your computer using original cable if not already. Also try a different port. What hardware is this for?

More information about my setup / config:

    MacBook Pro 15" early 2014, i7 @2ghz, 16Go RAM, 500go Apple SSD drive.

    System: Mac OSX 10.11.3.

Maschine MK2 plugged with original NI USB cable directly to MacBook Pro usb port (right side).
Maschine 2 software 2.6.5 updated via Native Access (1.0.26.)
External audio interface Komplete Audio 6, connected with original NI usb cable directly to Macbook Pro usb port (left side).

Everything is up to date from Native Access exception Reaktor 5 player.

It's been a year and half I own Maschine. I had this issue sometimes like I said, it's was okay. Yesterday though, it was very inconvenient to work with..

Try another port on the MacBook and see if it cures it. Make sure you are plugged in and not using battery. If you are resuming from sleep/hibernate then try reboot. Also try running the Maschine device update to make sure the MK2 firmware is up to date. This is available in the free download area where the drivers are.

Thanks guys, I will check the firmware first. I can also try another usb port. However my laptop is always on charged and I restart it on a daily basis.

Edit: that was actually a firmware issue . Thanks guys!
