I am gearing up for an upcoming 80's party and thought this would be a cool idea.
Instead of me racking my brain to remember all those super dope 80's songs that may have been forgotton, I thought I would:

    - request that each of you post one of your favorite 80's songs.

    I will start it off;

Eddie Murphy and Rick James - Party all the time - 1985

I'm more into the poppy stuff, all the 30+ people in my area know me for playing the horribly hilarious stuff.

Oran "Juice" Jones - (I Saw You) Walking In The Rain
Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up
    Paula Abdul - Straight Up
Paula Abdul - Cold Hearted Snake (oooo)
Milli Vanilli - Girl You Know It's True

Just about anything by any of the Jacksons
    Culture Club - Karma Chameleon
    Billy Idol - White Wedding
Debbie Gibson - I Think We're Alone Now (Was this 80s? early 90s?)
    New Edition - Candy Girl
Eric B & Rakim - Paid In Full
    Audio Two - top Billin
    Duran Duran - Notorious
Fine Young Cannibals - She Drives Me Crazy
Run DMC + Aerosmith - Walk This Way
AC/DC - Shook Me All Night Long (loop the first 4 or 8 bars and slap a hip hop acapella on there, hilarious)

I've got a whole playlist at home but I have to go handle some speaker bizness and won't be able to access it till I get in a few hours from now. Shazoo.

ok, now some of my faves... very poppy too, please keep in mind that mtv was my only music source at that time!

    guesch patti - etienne
pet shop boys - domino dancing
    paul hardcastle - nineteen
    housemartins - caravan of love
kim wilde - keep me hanging on

i'm so happy that all this music existed. without it i'd be probably dead now.
