    Requests for a (hopefully coming) Massive 2.0:

    * logarithmic (convex/concav) Attack of envelopes
    * graphically adjustable convex/concav attribute could be set to all phase of the ADSR envelopes
    * unlimited undo of editing
    * LFO Sync Ratio as modulation destination
    * randomize envelopes
    * random LFO parameters
    * randomization is cool, but Section Lock (from Virus TI) would be great preset mutation tool! Locking a set of parameters (parameters group) while changing patches - the locked parameters stay intact, all others are coming from the new patch.

    I as well hope for an envelope slope parameter, but meanwhile you can emulate this (Virus like) with envelope selfmodulation...

    - Envelope Attack slopes would be nice, to be able to pick from 3 (or more) curves.

    - Id like to see in the 'Routing' tab the ability to change the Oscs route out so that it could modulate a different Osc, providing some additional rudimentary scope for FM type synthesis.

    - The ability to apply unison spread to Osc's individually, rather than the whole voicing altogehter.

    - The ability to Draw/Edit LFO curves

    Should Massive 2.0 be on the cards that is :)

    - Polyphonic portamento
    - Individual pan control for each osc

    Needs more complex and easily editable envelopes like in Absynth

    Crossposting this from the thread in the main forum since I didn't see this one until now:

    I think Massive's engine sounds great with the right attention to programming patches (I love to throw tiny bits of random trigger modulation everywhere and go nuts with the unison spread on everything but the pitch), and can't think of anything that particularly needs improvement there.

    Wishlist:

    Voicing options:
    A simple rule for legato "distance" e.g. in poly mode if legato max distance is set to 3 semitones then a note played 3 semitones or less in distance from another will play legato but a further note will trigger as a separate note (this would be GREAT for playing guitar and string style stuff, and doing this in instrument racks in my DAW is a PITA cause you have to play the lines on separate octaves or something similar because the racks are based on keyranges which can't overlap, not "rules" like this, not to mention it uses multiple instances). In a mono mode this option would just control what is played legato and what is retriggered.

    Also, currently the modulators appear to work in either free run or retrigger mode which is legato mode when the voicing is set as such, but it'd be nice to be able to override the voicing settings for individual modulators to always legato or always retrigger. Now that I think about it this is kinda stupid cause most of what I would reasonably want to do with this feature request could be accomplished with host based layering but if implementing it is trivial I'm sure plenty of people would use it.

    Decouple pitch and filter spread
    Intensity spread

    Positive and negative unipolar spread modes for centered and chord

    Microtuning!
    I'd also really like to see NI either adopt a standard or settle on their own here because the method of loading tuning scales differs between pro-53, kontakt, fm8 etc.

    Pitch bend quantization with adjustable smoothing (ideally integrated with the tuning)—the simplest way to accomplish this without cluttering up the interface might be to allow mod sources and macro controllers to "scrub" through stepper modulators and the glide amount in the stepper would control the quantization smoothing.
    To be really greedy, I'd like to be able to quantize spread modulation as well.

    Maybe one or two more waveshapes for the modulation oscillator would be pretty sweet.

    A couple more noise shapes for LFOs, and moddable symmetry bending and/or syncing of LFO shapes

    Audio input

    REALLY CRAZY REQUESTS:
    Multiple audio inputs with envelope followers and/or gate envelope triggers would have lots of cool applications, not the least of which would be filtering before each envelope follower, routing the triggered envelopes to the amp on the sound sources and using it as a sound replacer of sorts.

    Thanks for your time to anyone who decided to read that huge wall of text I just dropped.
