    First out, I'm currently trying to use Kontakt 2 in cojunction with Sibelius (4), using some virtual midi cable called 'LoopBe1', which works hell of a lot better than Midi Yoke when it comes to accurately sending/receiving midi messages.
    Anyways, if you use a few instruments at the same time using the settings mentioned above, problems arise in that voices are abruptly cut.
    The question: what is most likely to cause theese problems?
    Is it the LoopBe virtual cable, Sibelius or Kontakt 2 itself?
    Or could it possibly have something to do with the fact that Sib and Kontakt each uses quite a lot of CPU, and that combined causes Kontakt to start killing voices?

    Of course, the follow-up question to this is; can you, and in such an event what, do anything about it?

    If it doesn't work better than this, surely there must be some other program then Sibelius to use as midi base (Sib is mainly for sheet music writing, after all), for I doubt that people are satisfied with loosing voices/alternatively have max 4 or something samples/track?

    ~~~~~~~~~
    Question 2: Yet more on Sibelius 4; from what I see, Kontakt Player Gold seems to only be compatible with Sibelius 3.
    What's all that about?
    Surely, there's ought to be possible to use it even if you've got a newer version?
    Replies are appreciated
    This could be a DFD issue. Read the DFD demystified pdf and try different seetings.
    If your instruments dont use (gb´s) of samples then try setting Kontakt to sampler mood and see if the notecuts go away.
    Other than Sibelius, Logic has a pretty good note editor.
