    hi everyone.
    I need quick answer to my question: is it S4 I need....?
    In two weeks will have to make decision about Traktor S4.
    I'll be happy to read some positive and negative thoughts about S4.
    Love to get it, but i think i need a kick...

    Well you didn't give us any information on what you need it for... As brocklambert said read the reviews. I'll say just get it it is a good controller.

    If you like Traktor (which you can test) and want to "operate" pretty much every part of it with a specially made controller, then the S4 is what you need. No other controller can do the same good job at this point.

    consider the fact that almost one in every five controller has a busted left tempo fader and some .....(like mine) have completely stopped working

    I've read of 3 or 4 people total with that problem... wouldn't say that it is a widespread issue.

    We have a group for indian Djs on facebook a bunch of us bought the s4 3 have already posted about the problem and none of us have got even a iota of support. The jokers in their support team just do not reply Infact i was just discussing it with my mates and NI now has 3 unemployed djs to its credit we will now use all the djing time to write reviews and tell people not to buy it atleast till they wake up and apologize in written for the mother suckers in their support team

    If you are referring to your "moisture" issue... then you can't blame NI for whatever the hell you are doing to allow that much moisture to build up on your unit. Get a dehumidifier or a fan... or move.

    the moisture issue was just one dude my unit even started working again even though i havent sold or used it to play anywhere. I am more frustrated now cos my friends face the fader problems, its no big deal for me cos i dont dj for a living its just a hobby but people i know who are'nt very well off and do this for a living they bought this crap from NI and ended up being conned

    By the way the fader issue isnt really as big as NI has made it I bet it can be solved by cleaning it with some contact fluid but the NI support says it will void your guarantee . So here it is to sum it up we wont solve your problem and we wont let you solve it yourself without voiding your warranty. **** this **** man I wish these mofos lived in america would have sued them to a shut down .
