Sonar X3e projects crashing Sonar since Maschine 2.3 update

I totally agree. The wait has been too long. I know the guy on the phone has no control over this but I just wanted to get a gauge from him on how significant this is to NI. He made it sounds like it was high priority. I just want this fixed ASAP.

 

I bet he has no clue. High priority is getting new controllers and fixing mac bugs first. PC customers are second class citizens.

 

Oh I hope you're wrong. He instantly knew of the issue and then put me on hold to check on the status. Everything did appear legit and honest.

 

I just saw list of some of the fixes coming in 2.4 The Sonar fix seems vague. 2.3 didn't just crash. It also couldn't be configured successfully as a multitimbral vst in Sonar. Maschine 2.2.3 accomplished this with no problem.

 

2.4 here what is the verdict? Hopefully a silver lining here.

Just installed 2.4, no crashes and I can now use it as a multitimbral sound sound source in Sonar. I made a project with Maschine, saved it, closed and reopened it. No crash!!Thank you NI!!

 

2.4 is working with sonar tonight and I have had no crashes! Thank you for the fix.

 

They should have fixed this much earlier.
But I would like to thank Keir and the mods here, I doubt this would have got very far at all otherwise. Thx.

 

That is great I am only 350 miles from my rig and will be trying it this Monday! Thanks NI for the fix
