Sort own patches

As known up to GR5, the ability to sort patches with drag and drop should be made available again.

 

Hey Gandi,
it is still very limited in comparison to what Guitar Rig 5 offered, but you can sort your patches by drag&drop when you color-tag them and then select "Custom" as the sorting type as shown in the attached image. I hope that helps at least a little.

if we look at the "sort" feature, we must first look at the usecase.
In this case, GR should be used live. So you have a gig with 10 standing lists. The set lists can also be created under GR6.
Each set has 6-10 songs. Each song is represented by a patch. Now the patches have to be saved in the order of the songs. Then the set can be processed with "next".
In addition, identical presets are used in different set lists.
I could sort through the names of the presets under GR6. Drag / drop up to GR5 was comfortable though.
Unfortunately, the use of colors does not help in this case.

this is funny because i'm color blind !
I see nearly same dot colors. So i'll have to count the dots => useless function

our design team is aware of the problem that the color-tag feature is not useful for people dealing with color perception issues. It's being discussed and we hope we can resolve or at least improve this issue in one of the next updates of Guitar Rig.

 

If I could sort the patches without color coding, I would have almost achieved the good status under GR5 and earlier.

Would be great to have something like a setlist feature, to drag and drop presets into, allowing multiple instances as well.
