Sort scenes

Hi,

I bumped onto some sort of bug/annoying feature : for unknown reasons my scenes were all mixed up it my MK2 pads. I had the 1-6 right, but the 7th scene was on pad 8, the 8th on pad 13…

It's somewhat easy to fix with the software's scene manager (even if it rearranged my song in the process ), but I can't see any useful application of letting you create a scene on any pad… On the JAM, the scenes are created in the next available slot, and that's it.

Is it possible to either prevent that behavior on the MK2 (pushing CREATE, creates a scene on the next slot, and that's it) or add a way to sort scenes (removing blank pads) ?

One application is to allow you to organise Scenes across different Scene banks how you wish. Although I don't like the current behaviours entirely, I would not want to lose the ability to put Scenes on whichever Scene bank I wanted.

Automatic sorting (and even renaming e.g., numerically and consecutively according to order in the arranger) has been requested and I want it badly. As for the Mk2 behaviour, you can either create a Scene directly next to the current Scene (create) or duplicate a Scene (even a blank one) to wherever you want. Does that answer your question?
