Sound drops and latency changes

Hi everybody,

i have a problem that appears about 1-3x between a normal 6h gig:

In between a song the sound drops two times about a half second. After that the music plays normally but my timecode signal reacts firstly after 1,5 seconds - or even later. Thus, scratching is impossible.

I temporarily solve this issue by restarting Traktor while playing the next song via iTunes. Another fix is to refresh the sample rate in a silent moment by clicking on "44100 Hz" in the dropdown menu (44100 Hz was already set before). Thus the sounds disappears for 1-2 seconds but afterwards my latency works fine again.

Three weeks ago i bought a SSD and installed OSX completely new on it. I only copied the traktor library folder to my new SSD because of my cue points etc. I already had this problem with my old HDD and it occurs with CDs and TTs (couldnt check a midi controller).

My system:
Macbook Pro 13 (Early 2011)
OSX 10.9.3
2,3 Ghz Intel Core i5
SSD 512GB
8GB DDR3 Ram

Traktor:
Traktor 2.6.8
Audio 8 Driver Version 2.6.0
X1 Controller (MK 1)

I have also had audio drops recently and they corrupt my recordings, but I turned off mulitcore processor support and haven't had any since. I'm on a late 2011 15" macbook pro. Give it a shot if you haven't. I'm scanning the forum for more on this.

 

i'll give it a try but that would be really strange because i didnt change anything in the settings. thanks firstly

 

Unfortunately the problem still exists.

Does anyone else have a suggestion?
