Resolved Sound glitches in Traktor Pro3 Beta

I saw another user of the Pro 3 Beta was experiencing "glitchy sound". I also noticed this, and initially thought maybe I had defective mp3 files. After reading his post I opened my other version of Traktor Pro 3.4.2, played the same songs, and there was no issue. To clarify by "glitchy", the song sounds distorted (more like pops and clicks), as it would when you adjust the sample rate and/or buffer size. It doesn't occur with every song though, which is why I initially thought it was due to defective copies. I adjusted the sample rate and buffer size, but it did not improve. Again, in the other version of Traktor this problem did not occur. I LOVE the capability to integrate with Beatsource, etc., and would really like to be able to use this added functionality, but the issue with the glitchy sound renders this version unusable for me. I hope you all can figure this out because I'd rather not go back to the older Traktor version.

Hey Eddie Fields and Hanginon !

Would you be kind enough to share your set up (OS, potential hardware etc..) and to quickly record a screen/sound capture of Traktor playing these glitchy tracks ?
That would help me to understand where it comes from and try to fix it as I've never experienced it myself.

3.4.2 works flawlessly for me
Hopefully there is a solution soon.

 

Looks like Traktor records as .wav which can't be uploaded?
I must be doing something wrong.

Sound Card info has already been uploaded in the Screen capture
Increasing Buffer to 1024 makes no difference

I'm having the very same issue, mine seems to come after an hour or so.... at first I thought it was the track I was playing, but every subsequent track had the same issue.

My setup is: -

MacBook Pro 2019, Intel core i9, 2.3ghz 8 core CPU, 16Gb DDR4 RAM, running big sur 11.2

Sure...I'm on a 2012 MacBook Pro, running Catalina 10.15.7. Again, no issues with Traktor 3.4.2, only this new Beta. BTW, this site will not allow me to upload the song I recorded per your request. I tried .wav and .mp3 formats, to no avail. I won't allow you to select a file after you click the 'Upload A File' button below.

 

I had to put the wav files in a .zip wrapper to upload them.

 

I have filled this bug as TP-15663.

 

Is it possible that the glitchy audio in V3.5 is caused by low bit rate mp3's, like 128kbps ?

 

Same problem here on 3.5 full release. I would describe it as "digital tearing" for approximately 2 - 3 seconds. Happens sporadically so it is difficult to repeat and capture.

Typically occurs after Traktor has been running for a while. Perhaps 30mins to an hour.

So far only happens when two tracks are mixing on A & B deck through master out, not yet on a solo track playing out through master. No other Traktor effects running.

Certainly occurs during use of Beatport Link tracks, but I believe it has also occurred on my own downloaded files: FLAC & WAV.

Thanks to your contribution on this forum, we have been able to reproduce and to fix this issue.
We now know that the audio glitches will only occur with any MP3s with a resolution under ~180kbps. We are about to finalise a beta version that will be available as soon as possible next week and should solve this issue.

Same problem here working on Windows 10 with 3.5.0v, some mp3 files are clipping while i am playing it.
I hope you fix it soon as possible please, Thank you native team!.
