When I play with Traktor Scratch Pro and CDJ-1000 I have a problem when I have the pitch at 0% and the keylock feature is on. The problem is the tempo in Traktor is waving around 0% which gives a "bad quality" sound because of the key lock process.
Is there any way to avoid this problem, besides not playing with the pitch at 0% or turning the keylock off?

Yes I had the same issue. but I found the solution. Turn off the wireless connection and change latency to normal CPU power setting or higher. turn off keyloack on CDJ1000. hope that will work for you.

Tried out the demo today. Had the same problem too!
I ve always used 1.5ms with absolutely no problems, my laptop can easily handle that, and all the devices are disabled, even the cd drive :(

I sometimes got this with 3.4 too, with the pitch constantly drifting from -0% to +0%, but the sound distortion wasnt so bad and the problem usually dissapeared when moving the pitch back and forth and then back to 0.
This "solution" doesnt work with pro :(

All the people i know that have tried traktor scratch pro with control cds have this problem. I personally tested it, with 3 different audio8s, 4 laptops, cdj1000mk3, cdj1000mk2, cdj100, cdj800, cdj200, and cdj800mk2. Its outrageous that nobody at NI does something about it.

Is key lock ON on the CDJ or inside Traktor itself? I can imagine that the key lock on the CDJ messes with the sound of the timecode signal i.e it changes its pitch so it may seem to Traktor that there are some speed changes going on.

Had the same, so switched on the keylock inside Traktor and the one on the CDJ off.

master tempo is disabled. key lock is enabled only on traktor. the key goes constantly from +0.0 to -0.0 and everytime this changes it sounds awful...

    Same issue here...
    CDJs + bad sound quality.

They better fix that, or TSP is going right back to the store!
