I am thinking about getting one of these for the cool drivebay and the asio support.

    I currently have a sblive card and get 20-50ms latency on my p3 933 - 256
    - would the new card be worth it?

For less that what an SB 'Ugh-iddy' card will cost, you can get an M-Audio Audiophile 24/96 card, and it will sound a lot better. Lower latency, better drivers, less problems. Period. I think that Guitar Center has it for $149 right now, but you might be able to order one for less, online somwhere.

You can run this card along with the SB card you already have in your computer. You'll probably want to keep using the SB, cuz the Audiophile doesn't have it's own output amp, and you can connect the outputs of it to the line-in of your SB card for monitoring.

The SB 'Ugh-iddy' card has been causing problems for people that want to use it in Cubase. Check their forum.
