Solved Sounds.com down?

    Brand new to Sounds.com, and have not been able to access the website for the second day now.
    Are outages common? How long do they last?

    I can access the site, but it's extremely slow. Wouldn't surprise me if it gets abandoned in the near future, I don't think it was as successful as NI hoped it would be.

    Yeah idk whats happening. At first, I could still use the site because i had a tab of it open before i experienced trouble. The thing was, i could only use that tab, and couldnt log in to the site on other tabs. But now that i restarted the browser, i cant get in. It sucks cuz i actually like sounds.com

    I'd hope they'd give us refunds for the time we had left at the very least, but i kinda doubt its over, probs just some technical difficulties

    I can confirm that it seems there is on and off issues with the sounds.com website since yesterday.
    It doesn't mean anything more than a technical issue but I'm trying to find out more info.

    The sounds.com website has been very slow for me for at least a month. No issues with main NI site or the forums, only sounds.com.

    Any updates please Matt? This has been going on for days and all I get is a blank page with "Bad Gateway"! I need to get hold some samples for a live project and it's dissapointing I can't access my account. I do hope we get some credits towards this.

    I was actually just talking about the situation here.
    Unfortunately, it doesn't look like our hosting department was able to get everything back up for some reason. The sounds.com team will probably reach out to users if this doesn't get sorted today. I'll hopefully know more details this afternoon.

    I'm hoping they can fix this I bought the subscription for a year and have a lot of sounds I have not downloaded. What happens to all my credits?

    sounds is not closed and I can't imagine this being more than just momentary. There should definitely be some gesture for the few days of downtime but you won't lose your yearly subscription.

    Quick update but it seems it will take a bit longer than anticipated. I couldn't really get an ETA on when the website will be up and running again (still working on it). With that said, we'll be sure to compensate everyone affected by this massive hiccup.

    Yes, it does seem like it was finally sorted over the weekend!
    I'm waiting on an update around compensation but keep an eye on your email as well :)
