    try mine

i ve made one. its not really a sp1200 emulation, but try it! maybe the samples are not grungy enough, but it definitely has an 8 channel step sequencer and lots of controls.
go to the user lib, search for "drum sesson", take v02!
    hope it does the work...

    cool

Hi..I downloaded it and it is pretty cool..nice layout.colors etc..GUI.I could not quite get why when I play for example C4 (first sequencer..then load a sample into next..it would stop playing the first and then only play D..so on..I like the idea..bt i was looking for more of a simple 909 16 step buttons.with velocity..
something like..8 rows of 16 steps with buttons..and unde that velocities like a 909..and all .each row would program a sample..
I would make my self but could not figue how to make a buttoin make a lower velocity.

    what exactly ?

i dont know exactly what your problem is, but ill tell you what i think you need to do:

load the original gonzzo file as desrcibed at the info hint.
click a sample module and at the properties/function click "save".
save the map (choose a short name (for example "x") to see the samples name in the sampler window).

now load the wds (my) file.
click a sampler module and at the properties/function click "load".
select the previous saved map (not a single wave file).
check yes if youre asked to dicard changes made to the map.
proceed in the same way with every module (c4-c5).
save the wds file. the maps are saved and with the next restart of the ensemble they are present (be sure to close reaktor before loading wds again (dont know why but it forces my reaktor down)).

    it should work now.

to play the samplers through your midi keyboard, you have to switch the power buttons (in 8drum) of the desired channel to "off". if you do not, every 8/note (or so) is triggered.

    hope this helps...

ok and here is the answer to your question..

you want to have 8 rows of buttons (to select whether at one of 16 "steps" the connected sampler is triggered or not). in addition you want to have for each of these buttons a fader (8x16=128) to adjust the velocity.

i think 8drum has what you are looking for:
8 table sequencers with 32 "steps" (called "clocks" there). each bar in a table represents 1 step. when set to "0", it as like your desired "button" is "off". when set to a value (1-127) its as the button is "on" and the velocity fader set to the value.

    what you have to do:
open my ensemble, select the 8drum and save instrumet. then load this instrument in your ensemble and connect the 8 outputs to the 8 inputs of whatever you want to trigger.

this is usually used to trigger drum samples (cause note pitch is fixed, so this is perhaps what you mean with "it only plays c4"). so if i didnt get you right (i <ups> dont know what a sp1200 is) and you are lloking for a (in addition) pitch sequencer, you have to modify it (another table for each channel, connected to the samplers pitch inputs (or maybe to sample select if you use a mapped sample). the tables have to be connected through an order module to the midi clock to first send pitch, then velocity & trigger event).

this should work, even if it can be done in many other ways, depending on your demand.

    have fun....
