Space Drone Controller Problem/Question

I've modified the Space Drone ensemble to receive controller messages so I can manipulate the output/sound in my sequencing program.

Controller messages are received fine, but even small changes over long periods of time occasionally produce unwanted pops and clicks in the audio.

For example, I've assigned MIDI controller #1 assigned to attack. In my sequence, I'm going from 0 to 127 over a 5 minute period with no single step larger than 1. Still, I can hear clicks and pops when the values change in spots.

I have adjusted the step size/number of steps parameters upwards hoping to smooth things out and avoid the pops, but no luck.

Suggestions?

 

Try using an Event Smoother after the MIDI Controller input. You can adjust the smoothing time constant in the properties.
