I was just wondering if there is anyway of speeding up the reverse funtion in Traktor so I can do backspins in midtrack. as it is now, the track quickly slows down and then revereses. So is it possible to make it go straight into reverse like in the Pioneer CDJ1000

Yep Run your decks in Direct mode. Then drop your track into a loop and grab the waveform with the mouse and immediately throw it left or right and let it go. It will career through the loop then exit the loop and viola you have a Traktorized backspin. Its a variant of what I think Carl Cox does on a CDJ. Just takes a tiny little bit of practice.

So there is no way of actually making the reverse button flip the audio around without a noticable pause then??

Use Final Scratch and it will be easy to do some backspin ;o)

No kiding I'll give a try to the "Traktorized backspin" just for fun.
