Spektral Delay.......

I just did receive SD today. I do not know if I have a bad day, or if the installation is not as it should be. There are no presets appearing. The manual is kind of very economic for a 300$ Plugin. I could not play any of the presets, even by clicking on the in the finder (I use a G5 with MacOs X.3.7), The whole thing is very frustrating. I have other NI products, such as GPO, EQWLSO and of course Kontakt which have never give me any problems, so I am kind of very disappointed by this new purchase.
If someone can help or make any comments, this would be great.

I have same trouble using NI Komplete version of SpecDelal on WinXP.

 

Did you download the latest update for Spektral? You'll find it on the NI Komplete area under the support tab. I believe the latest version is 1.5.7.

I remember having the same sorts of problems with Spektral, I've got it installed on a Mac and Win XP. Don't have the Mac running now, but on the XP box there is a preset folder where Spektral got installed. \program files\Native Instruments\Spektral Delay\Presets.

My hazy recollection is that you start up Spektral, make sure the "File" button is pressed, then press the "READ" button. That will allow you to point to the presets folder, then from there you should be good. I recall that I needed to point Spektral one time at the preset folder location, then it's been fine since then.

Use it all the time, love it. Probably one of my all time favorite effects.

The Komplete install process had a few hiccups, and Spektral was one of them. But, not that big of a deal to fix.

Thank you for the help.
I am starting to see more clear with Spektral Delay. The interface is a little unusual, but it is also an unusual plug-in. I am still experimenting, but I really am starting to get addicted to it.

It's about the only effects plugin that I use these days- there's so many things you can do with it.
