    I have GRM tools and love it. I wonder if SD would be too similar to be worth getting or if it is really a different animal all together...

    It's something completely different. Some stuff is comparable, but there are some neath tricks you can do with the SD which are impossible to do with the GRM Tools. And vice versa.

    I'm pretty sure that GRM tools will not create different delays for different frequencies of the spectrum which is the central feature of Spektral Delay. So if I'm right about that, then they indeed would be totally different animals. I have never heard of another program that will do this.
