Splash Screen while launching (to show progress)

    Hi Maschinists,

    How about a nice graphical splash screen (with those conceptual graphics found on the packaging) while launching?

    This will provide aknowledgement from the system that it got the command to launch. A progress bar with text indicating what it is doing during the launch would be handy for troubleshooting purposes on a problematic system.
