Becuase of the pause between changing presets I've decided to crossfade between to settings to achieve a smooth change in sound for live performance. I've noticed however that many times after switching to the clean sound.... that the splitters crossfade moves on its own back towards the side with the distortion. Its highly annoying when your playing a clean part.... and it gradually becomes more distorted. you can actually see it moving across slowly. It never really settles all the way to one side or the other. Anyway another lame problem with a potentionally excellent product. Cmon NI forgot about KORE, and fix this crap 1st! please.

I'm using crossfades to switch between signals, too. Are you using a switch or the pedal? RK2 or MIDI? I have never experienced such behaviour and I'm using GR2/RK2 on an ibook 1.33 with 1.5GB ram (yes, I have clicks and pops, brr...). I'm switching the Splitter by switch, not by pedal. If you are using the pedal to blend between two channels are you sure the pedal stays in the same position (vibration?). What happens if you calibrate the pedal again?

If you are using the Splitter for switching effects, you might be interested in this thread for two stage splitting to achieve smooth effect changes with delays and reverbs. This has nothing to do with your current problem though.

    Cheers,
    Tim

PS/OT: Is there any way to change my status from Registered User to NI Product Owner? I missed to generate a forum account upon product registration and was hoping using the same email address for both product and forum registration would suffice later on, but obviously it doesn't...
