Can anyone recommend a third party stand that would fit Maschine? I used to have a Roland Handsonic and Roland made a tripod stand for that unit, but with NI's Maschine, I am stuck with table top use. Not that this is the end of the world or anything, but I would love a little more freedom on where to place my Maschine and especially how I can angle it.

    Thanks!

What about those notebook tables at IKEA ? I'm planning on buying one of those :)

I also plan to buy a long USB cable and sit in the couch while making music. :)

I ordered another OnStage MIX400 stand which is the same one I use for my Lemur. These stands are better quality than the QuickLoc stands they have at Guitar Center. OnStage makes good stuff and zzounds has these at the lowest price. Adjustable w/casters.

Did this work? I assumed it would be too big for the maschine?

You know what's funny ? It says "On stage". I imagine what would one do in a live performance if he had to run on stage after the Maschine :))

The stand has wheels and I can't see a brake in there :D

Lol, there ARE two locking casters but I have them on carpet in the studio so I can't vouch for their ability. =)

I'm considering using electrical conduit and a small radius bender to add a sturdy frame for a laptop or mixer as well. If I have time, I'll slap it together and post a couple of photos.

I think I'd rather have a solid steel beast with NO wheels that was made to bang on. That other stand is cool too, but I'd rather put something on that stand I'm not planning on hitting. ;)

I've got a couple of L stands for samplers and maschine as well, which work when ur trying to spin records and hammer samples. The odyssey L stand can clamp to your flight case, table, or sit on flat legs and slide under the turntable. The uberstand os cool too, but I don't EVER put a sampler on top. It's a great lapto stand. It is NOT Meant for beating on. P

i bought a black metal one from office depot for monitors, cut the legs off, bent some metal, raised the legs to about 6 inches, welded the legs on, painted it black, now it sits very comfortably exactly the same width as my behringer ddm-4000 so i can use both at the same time.

    I found the Perfect Stand!

Hey Guys I found this at Staples for $75.00 everywhere else it seems to go for $100 +. It is the 3M LX600MB. It's angle is adjustable and perfect for placing it on a desk. The width and depth is adjustable making it a perfect fit for the Maschine. It also swivels around if you want to move it. Check out the pics below.

The Xtand Pro is just great for it!

    Hello,

since I own a MacBook (Late 2008, alu unibody) I've got my hands on a Xtand Pro stand. When my Maschine arrived 3 days ago, I was very surprised, that it sits great on the Xtand. So now I think I'm going to order a second Xtand Pro, just for the Maschine, so I can use the other stand with my MacBook again ;) (http://www.xtand.de/index_pro.php)

The only con I can see is the the high price of about 70 EUR, but I guess one has to live with it. Ive attached a picture so you guys can have a look.

    Greetz, Tekno

I did some research and also went into some local stores and found a great laptop stand that is black and aluminum. It's called Rocketfish Netbook stand and you can get it at Best Buy. I think it's almost a prefect solution as it keeps the Machine in a perfect angle to operate and to see the display.

Here is the link to the Best Buy website with the product
