Hello, I am looking for something to load in my own samples and full drum tracks to trigger live. I love the capabilities of the Mikro, but it seems it needs to be connected to a computer at all times. If anyone has any input, it'd be appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, It's a dedicated controller, not a standalone so it needs a computer.

If spending 1500$ on a Toraiz or an Octatrack is not an option there's a ton of MPC's to choose from.

If it's just for triggering samples, loops, and/or backing tracks you can't go wrong with the SP404sx/A.

You need a MPC live or the BIG MPC...forgot what you call that one.

    Lol, thanks for the assist.

The touch is not standalone I think.

    Correct. Touch is not standalone.
