Start Maschine Software from Hardware

    somtimes I just wanna turn on maschine, like you do a real machine lol.

    I guess somthing would have to be running in the background to pick up the on command.

    I think it would be a cool feature.

    yes, that would be cool.
    some button combination like shift+control for midi would be cool.
    actually there is the ni hardware service running in the background, at least on windows. so technically it should be possible.

    yes, unnecessary. but this sweet little things gives the maschine the hardwarefeeling we are looking for. the maschine is still not 100% editable from the controller. that's why i also like to see:

    - NOTE LENGTH
    - close maschine software
    - a REAL save option (save as, etc.)
    - renaming samples, sounds ...
    - prelisten samples
    - etc.

    Wondering if there's any news of this being implemented? I yearn for this every time I sit at my computer...

    though I bet it wouldn't be too hard for someone to hook into some MIDI monitor/listener software to trigger an event.

    My C++ skills aren't up to snuff haha
