I just bought Traktor S4 and am having issues with the sound. There is none! Something is definitely coming out of the speakers but it's nothing audible. I'm using a Mackbook Pro and havent touched any of the settings on either. Is there something that I'm missing? Any suggestions or advice would be great...

How new is your Macbook Pro? The newest ones running OSX 10.7.4 with USB3.0 ports have had problems with NI's audio interfaces and people seem to have patched the problem by reverting to OSX 10.7.3

Also, did you get the S4 driver installed properly?

The Macbook Pro is brand new. I ran the service center and saw six drivers that were there and installed all of them. I went back after restarting the laptop and the files were still in the service center. Is there a way to check if they've installed correctly?

Did you read his post? You can't use the new MBP with the S4 without using an older version of Traktor

I did read his post, Brock. It doesn't say anything about not being able to use a new MBP. It says people have patched it by reverting to a different OS. As you can see in my follow up, I was asking questions about drivers. I appreciate you taking the time to be so helpful though. Thanks.

The only way (currently) to get an S4 working on a new Macbook is to revert to 10.7.3 or earlier, this allows the USB ports to act as 2.0 instead of 3.0 allowing the S4 to work properly.
