Im not really into stems, but my point is 'what about TDJ and stems/4 deck mixing etc etc etc?'

Dj player works with ios 7 to ios 9 no problems...

 

Ibob u like the pioneer for tdj and I know u always have high hope for this app. But let's face it brother NI don't care about tdj and not planing to do nothing about it. It's really a waste of time saying or writing anything that has to do with this app. You the man doe ! I liked your setup. Thank for keeping hope alive with this app

They created the future, but decided to back track as there wasn't enough money in it.

 

ibob like you said. Not enough money! NI is about the money! Djay an djplayer are for the people. They listen to there customers and fix any issue that's going on within weeks. It's a shame too but what can you do. NI has horrible customer service and will continue doing so.

If they don't want the app, I wish they would sell it onto someone else who will make it work good again.
To be fair, my TraktorDJ hasn't crashed really, but then I haven't tried any long sessions on it recently & also I installed iOS9 from DFU mode (i.e. complete wipe/factory reset).

are there any news about the planned DJ Player GUI redesign ? .. did Garbor mention any date (i am not interested in steams, but the GUI in he Video Looks fantastic because it uses the complete screen size for waves, similar to TDJ), any ideas ?

 

(I got this email last nigh re: UK app store) they have a website up and running for pro player too so it shouldn't be too long.

Any day now Kalo, but 'it's a big hope' if Gabor has got to grips with perfect looping.....

 

I've looked at DJ Player and would seriously consider using it if I didn't have an issue with some of my tracks not being able to be played due to DRM. It's extremely frustrating when these are tracks I have actually purchased or downloaded as part of my DJ Pool subs. Note that both iTunes and Traktor DJ on my iPad have no issues playing any of these tracks.

Any ideas as to what I should try to get the songs working? Or why DJ Player seems to be the only program that wants to care about any apparent DRM on my tracks?

i assume it's the wrong forum here to discuss DJ Player issues, makes maybe more sense to discuss in the DJ Player Forum, but let me add a personal note/question to you guys too:

I have 3 main conserns, all are MUST have for me too migrate to DJ Player:

1) using wave forms full sreen width similar TDJ -> i assume next release will have
2) Transfer TDJ hotcues and loops into DJ Player -> i am quite optimistic, i also could try discuss with Garbor, maybe he offer a RecordBox Input
3) usage of my S4 .. and Z1 ! with DJ Player, in particiular my Z1 is a must have (Soundcard and Mixer) -> does anybody know, how to switch the Z1 from HDI to native midi mode ?? can we map the Z1 with DJ Player, also using soundcard ?? if not, i would keep on TCJ, honestly

 

I'd love for the Z1 to be switched to Midi mode, but that only works with a computer :/

Thanks, i also checked the manual now. i dont have Traktor installed on laptop in noment,so let me ask:

did you already check what happens if connect Z1 to PC/Mac once, set preferences in Traktor to midi, press mid button and both cue buttons on Z1 , then reconnect to iPad ? Does the Z1 maybe keep then midi mode ? Did you check ?
