The brain of Generator, a dream which came true to me 15 years ago, evolving into the Motor called Reaktor for NI for years, until a Traktor Maschine started heading to the power plant...

The brain behind Kore, this fantastic super instrument concept, architecture and implementation...

You seem to start fresh without black suit covered brakes blocking your brain waves?

I wish you all the best!

    CONGRATULATIONS!

We can only hope he will take notice of the Kore user base and will be developing a product just as good or better to take over the vast hole NI has left.

Do you think a program like that is profitable? It only seems interesting to a select group of people.

What is "left". Galic replaced him in 2009. Maybe he will continue making Reaktor instruments. What else did he do in NI the past 2 years?
It's interesting that it read "no dj" at the invitation card though :)

Right. Wake up call for anyone dreaming about Schmitt making something like Kore again, he just returned my email (from yesterday, that's faster then NI support ;)

"Nice to hear that you like Kore so much, since I put a lot of time and effort into this product. And it is sad to know that people like you are so disappointed about the discontinuation.

Nonlinear Labs will focus on specialized instruments, effects and controllers. Therefore a product like Kore will not be on the roadmap."

Sorry to burst your bubble but "the brain behind Kore" was James Walker Hall who is also the main developer behind Maschine.

This nosey rotting under-bridge dweller is the only one in this entire forum that I have placed on my "ignore" list. I highly recommend that others follow suit. Try it and you will experience instant stress-relief! Plus, it will be fun!

If he sold his Kore (or never had one), then he has no support need whatsoever to come here.

I know he owns Maschine, and that's fine. He can go over there where he has a purpose to be.

But in my opinion continually coming here to poke fun at or to dish out daily admonishments to the Kore users is trollish and wrong.

From the time of the Kore discontinuance announcement up until I put him on "ignore", he never once offered any assistance with Kore. As far as I'm concerned, if you're coming here to the Kore forum, you should at least be a Kore user.

And don't bother replying, I won't see the post. "Ignore" is working just fine and I see no reason to override it...

It was meant metaphoric. business decisions blocking creative art, brilliant open minded visionary ideas. Nothing wrong with both, I'm just curious and happy to finally being able to look forward to fresh innovations again, like some 15 years ago.

Some people just show a complete lack of sensitivity on forums but this one tries to hurt on purpose, must be something really wrong up there. [Post edited]
