Hmmm, I thought it was a misspelling and that you meant "black soot covered brakes", as in brakes on a vehicle that has been slowed down or stopped way too often and now the brakes won't disengage, thereby always slowing one down and preventing free movement or making for slow forward progress.

So they're developing smaller and more task-specific tools and controllers? Good luck with that! My little home office/studio doesn't have room for a lot of "specific" stuff. Generalism is the name of the game for me. Kore, Maschine, Synthesisers, etc rule the day because I can use them for more than one thing.

For what it's worth, I work in a casual attire environemnt, but I dress up with shirt and tie a couple times a week. I started doing this because I realized that we were beginning to look like an office full of poorly dressed paupers. Yes, some paupers do dress nicely. But we were not. I also noticed that it seems that creativity has stifled a little bit.

So by leaving the pack of "establishment dress" groupthink and putting on a colorful tie and an actual PRESSED SHIRT once in awhile, I believe I am serving to BRING BACK some lost creativity. So there! Chew on that for a minute or two.

 

Great, banned for over a week without warning for something that I don't consider and was not meant to be insulting, harmful, hateful, inflammatory, upsetting, generalizing or discriminating (if that's the right English term). Can't find any forum rule that I broke and no one cared to explain. I could rephrase but an argument about what I said has no place on a forum about music software.

I will not hang around at a place where I get treated like a school kid. I enjoyed learning and sharing knowledge here and there's even room to criticize the company, which is a good thing, but you won't see much of me in the future. Goodbye y'all
