    Until they fix it, lock your files (see my post just a few responses back). Way too many applications think they have the right to change tags.

    Also, sync to a source of truth that no programs touch. This is a good way to check which programs are changing things. As I mentioned above, Goodsync even has handy direction arrows so you can quickly reverse the change (other sync programs you basically have to force one direction and then still deal with exception handling in this regard).
