Stopping Looped Sample in Maschine

    I put an 8-bar sample on a pad in Maschine and write it to beat 1. I hit play but then stop the transport at the end of bar 1. It will continue playing for 7 more bars. Is there a way I can stop it from continuing to play?

    Change sample from One Shot to ADSR and make duration the full eight bars.

    i've read in several places about changing samples from one shot to adsr but where / how?

    go to your sampler module, use the < and > to go thru the many sampler pages!

    also, as an alternative method. i sometimes put a sound in pad 16, take the start/end length to basically nothing or the vol down (so you can't hear anything) and put it on a choke group for sounds i wanna choke. i guess this workaround won't be needed after 1.8 cos we will have: Choke all playing sampler voices feature ("panic button": Shift + Mute)
