Stopping Maschine when Sequencing Scenes in Ableton Live

I'm trying to sequence scenes in Maschine using "Scene MIDI Settings" and either the "MIDI Note" or "MIDI Program Change" options.

It works fine when a clip is triggered, but when the clip is stopped (or all clips are stopped) the last scene triggered continues to play because the main transport is running.

Is there a way to get Maschine to stop when the clip stops (like a gate mode based on note duration)? I guess I could trigger a clip that switches to an empty scene, but I'd rather set things up so that Maschine stops playing a scene when the clip stops.

Any ideas? Thanks!
