Say my sample(that i cut and loaded in) is on pad one. I press pad one and it plays, if i press pad one again the sample plays at the same time as the first one. How do I make it sothat when i press the same pad twice the sample will just stop and start over?

I still cant figure it out. Im not sure if my question was clear, I want to be able to do something like the intro of a milli by lil wayne, with my samples, where i press the pad three times and it starts the sound over every time you press it

Its just the sample trigger mode. On the sound selection on the pitch/gate page on the type selection , Choose one shot or ahsr or ahd.

Lotuz couldn't you just say what you mean instead of sending people on a search? What the OP was asking about is just sample trigger mode. As the OP is asking its just the classic sampler use from way back in the day.

You're usually very helpful;why be so cryptic?

You can leave it in oneshot (or AHD). ADSR gives a similar result, but it's not the same.

    Now enjoy this classic. ;)

That's right. Search for monophonic in the manual .pdf and you'll go to page 50. It's that easy! I'm not sending anyone on a quest for the holy grail or something.

I won't hear a bad word about Lotuz even if he is having a cryptic day:)

So how then do I set up / play a sample so it loops continually after hitting the pad
and then stops when I hit the pad again?
    ---
But talking of cryptic what the HELL has "monophonic" to do with the question that started this thread? Even after looking at the screenshot I fail to see how that entry in the so called manual answers the question?
